This cosy and comfortable semi-detached cottage situated in a pretty Devonshire village is a great base from which to enjoy the North Devon coast.

Set a short distance from the many beaches along the North Devon and North Cornwall coasts, this cottage is ideal for couples or small families wishing to explore this beautiful area. There is plenty to discover including family theme parks such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way, RHS Rosemoor, cycling on the Tarka Trail, or walking along the coastal footpaths. Clovelly, a unique cliffside fishing village that is privately owned and has remained unchanged for many years, is well worth a visit. The larger towns of Bude and Bideford offer a wide range of shops, restaurants and amenities, and Bude also offers a splash pool and ten-pin bowling centre, tennis courts, and a pretty canal.

Walk through the shared front garden and through your own garden gate to the side door and you step into the spacious kitchen/diner, equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and many useful extras; everything you need for a comfortable home away from home. The dining area seats four comfortably. Continue walking through and you’ll reach the lounge, made extra cosy with a wood burner. Here, you can sit back and relax on the sofa and make use of the Smart TV. The bedrooms and bathroom are accessed via the cottage-style stairs from the lounge and consist of one double with TV and one single with an additional pull-out single bed. The bathroom completes the accommodation with a shower over bath and WC.

Stepping outside you will find a peaceful, fully enclosed garden with a table, chairs, and charcoal BBQ, ideal for al fresco dining. A real highlight of this property is watching the birds and swallows that return here year after year - a delight to see from the garden. A very rural small semi-detached house which is very well equipped and a bonus with a log burner. Central heating and shower was comfortable and ample for the Early Spring Season. A 5* cottage with absolutely everything your heart could desire! Took 2 dogs and they had the best time. Loved the location. Visited Westward Ho Beach by the North Devon Surf Club and Sandymouth Beach. Both ace beaches for dogs. Look for Harding M D when using Google maps to find cottage. Would love to stay again in the future. Thank you, Yvonne.

It was extremely clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. Everything there that we could possibly need during our stay - like home from home. We chose this cottage because it has an enclosed garden - perfect for us with our dog.
