This delightful and welcoming barn offers couples a perfect idyll in the centre of Devon, within easy reach of popular coastline and countryside.

The property is just a 20-minute drive from the lovely town of Barnstaple, where there are a wealth of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. A short stroll from the barn and you are in the village centre where there are two pubs, a small shop and Post Office. For golfers, the beautiful Libbaton Golf Club is nearby. Other attractions nearby include RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Dartington Crystal, as well as the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, and the sandy beaches at Woolacombe and Saunton to name but a few.

 Entering the barn, you get the feeling of space provided by the vaulted ceiling and feature light fitting. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides everything you will need for your stay. Watch all your favourite programmes on the Smart TV whilst settling down on the comfortable sofa. The dining table makes eating in a breeze, and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook up a storm, with electric oven and hob, and fridge with freezer section. Also, on the ground floor is a shower room with shower and WC. The staircase leads up from the lounge area to a galleried double bedroom with King-size bed, Smart TV/DVD and space for a travel cot if required.

Outside there is an enclosed gated gravelled area with seating.

POWS Barn is fantastic, immaculate, well presented and everything one could want. On arrival, beautiful fresh flowers, a lovely cream tea and milk greeted us with a kind welcome card too, all a surprise that was greatly enjoyed. Emma and Adam are so lovely and friendly and extremely helpful. An amazing holiday, We will back without a doubt.

We have just returned from a two week holiday at Pows Barn, we had a really lovely time. Adam & Emma are great hosts, with lots of knowledge of the area, also places to go. We used Woolacombe beach most days, lovely beach about 40 mins away. We had fish &Chips from the cod father who is in village on Tuesdays 4.30 to 7pm well recommend. From the minute we arrived Adam and Emma were absolutely brilliant nothing, was too much trouble. We had a fabulous welcome pack, They had put fresh roses in the room along with fresh scones, jam and clotted cream along with tea, coffee etc. Unfortunately there was no advice on whether it was jam first or cream first. Lovely little place to stay. Our hosts locals are friendly too. The property is well equipped and tastefully furnished we were very impressed. A lovely cottage ideal for both the dog and ourselves, decorated and fitted out to a high standard. A shame that both pubs in the village are shut but used the mobile fish and chips, which was very nice, and a very handy community shop that was a two minute walk away. Have marked location down . Not owners fault but both pubs in the village are not open., so now where to go in the evenings . As dog friendly could have done with outside tap to wash muddy paws to help keep cottage clean as spotless.

Great location for exploring North Devon. The barn was perfect in every way. Weather wasnt the best so we walked most days, from Brownsham to Clovelly was by far the toughest walk but really enjoyed it. The cream tea at the New Inn was delicious too. Spent a week at Pows Barn and cannot recommend highly enough. Equipped to a high standard, the accommodation was comfortable, spotlessly clean and ideally located in a peaceful setting. Beautiful and cosy, quiet location really lovely quiet place exactly what we were looking for. We were all made very welcome including our dog who had her own little goody bag which was really thoughtful. A lovely little cottage. We felt instantly at home. Everything was clean, new, stylish and comfortable. The barn was perfect for our week away. On arrival we were greeted by lovely owners who were incredibly helpful. The barn was immaculate and had everything we needed for our week away. The barn is a great base for exploring Devon as well as local walks.

We had a lovely welcome from Emma, Adam and Jack even though we were over 2 hours later arriving due to traffic. Emma had left us a cream tea, just what we needed. Cottage had everything you could possibly need and very comfortable , especially the bed. Pows Barn was immaculately furnished throughout with everything you need. The owners were there to meet you and were available if needed, they were helpful and very friendly and left cream scones milk, tea/coffee and flowers which was very much appreciated. The owners introduced themselves on arrival and were available if needed throughout our stay, cottage was excellent nicely furnished throughout everything you need. There were some nice touches like flowers, cream tea and milk left in the fridge would highly recommend

Pows Barn is the most perfect place for two people to stay. It is just a short drive from lots of beaches in North Devon and the countryside you drive through to reach them is spectacular.
