For a wonderful holiday to West Yorkshire and the Peaks stay in this retreat perfect for large groups within these converted stables, with a contemporary finish and wonderful open views of the countryside.

Lying on the northern cusp of the Peak District National Park, with some local walks right on the doorstep including Scammonden Reservoir. Slaithwaite is just two miles down the road where the Huddersfield narrow canal runs through the village centre. Stop in the self-brewing pubs and independent eateries. Just a short drive takes you to a local farm shop at Bolster Moor, with it's on-site butchers, cafe, deli and bakery. A visit to Yorkshire wouldn't be complete without a traditional local pub serving traditional local fayre, there is one just a short stroll away from the property. Travel down and discover the Peak District, close to the Pennine Way, the ultimate National Trail challenge offering fine walks and mountain biking.

This former stable block is set back from the road on the owners private land, open the large oak door which reveals a wonderful, light and airy open-plan living space. A fantastic entertaining space for family and friends to gather and enjoy each others company. On the left is a comfortable lounge area, pick a movie and sit back in real comfort on the L-shape sofa as you view it on the Smart TV. The kitchen truly is the heart of the home and has the real wow factor with big central island, sit around the breakfast bar with wine in hand whilst the cook of the group prepares a home cooked meal. Equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, wine cooler, microwave and dishwasher. The large dining table comfortably fits everyone around, ideal for meal-times and game nights. A handy utility room houses another fridge, washer/dryer and coat storage. The property has six spacious bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into twins on request) both with beautiful private en-suite shower and WC.
