For the walkers and cyclists amongst you, this beautiful spot provides country trails from the doorstep, allowing you to take in the best that the South Downs National Park has to offer. The thriving market town of Alton is just 2.5 miles away and has a delightful mix of historic buildings, modern shops, cafes and restaurants, whilst the Watercress Line steam railway goes from Alton and trundles through pleasant countryside, through the villages of Ropley and Alresford. Enjoy a walk through the Lavender Fields at Hartley Park Farm or even explore Alice Holt Forest, both within 7 miles.

From making your way up the external stairway and into the converted loft you will soon notice the attention to detail in this stylish retreat. The open-plan layout consists of the kitchen, lounge, dining, and bedroom space to which the wonderful, draped curtains can be drawn. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a wine cooler, whilst guests can take a seat on the breakfast bar to enjoy dining. There is also a comfortable sofa positioned here allowing guests to fully relax after a day on the trails. The chic bedroom space consists of a king-size bed with light flowing through the windows on both sides. Featuring a unique design, you can make your way from either side of the bed through to the exquisite bathroom, where you will find a roll-top bath and separate walk-in waterfall shower and WC.

The home has a gated entrance to the grounds and outdoor space in abundance where guests can explore Hartley Wine Estate’s 80 acres of vines, woodland, farmland and fishing lakes. You could even meet the friendly animals which include a family of peacocks, rare breed chickens and a flock of sheep too. There is ample parking on site.

We had the best time at the vineyard. The view from the room was fantastic, the room was very clean and all amenities provided were well thought. We also had the chance to go on different hikes to nearby villages. I would highly recommend it to any nature/hiking lovers. We will definitely go back.

Lovely place to stay especially with your dog. Rosie had a great time with the other dogs and knowing she couldnt get out was great.

We stayed at vineyard view for a week. The hosts were very freindly, including exchanging emails before, to give recommendations on local places to eat, as I was trying to book a meal for my husbands birthday. The cottage was beautiful, well equipped and set in stunning surroundings. Wandering round the vineyard and into the local village was a higRead morehlight of the stay.
