More demanding walks further afield throughout the North York Moors and on the coast-to-coast route's. Head towards the coast for a day at the beach at Whitby, just a short drive in the car. Take a tour to Goathland, famously known as the film location for 'Heartbeat', the station here has featured as Hogsmead in the Harry Potter films.

The cottage is in a beautiful location but is very remote with no phone signal or wifi. It has been converted making good use of the space. Did not miss the tv as we were able to listen to the radio and play board games in the evening which was something we do not usually do. We visited Runswick Bay, Whitby, Staithes, Sandsend, Saltburn on Sea and Read moreRedcar during our week. The parking space is a few metres down the road and closer than we thought so was not an issue. Hide

This was a lovely cottage and located in a beautiful area of England. We thoroughly enjoyed our internet-detox. There were so many lovely places to visit including lots that were dog friendly-the New Forest was a gem. The cottage was beautifully converted and very comfortable. The wood burner was great x

We spent a wonderful week in the chapel, we're so pleased to have found it. It's beautiful, comfortable, and in a secluded and peaceful location, right in the North York Moors. Whitby/Robin Hood's Bay were an easy drive away, as were lots of brilliant walks. To be aware: there is no WiFi/mobile reception (which we enjoyed). There's also no dishwashRead moreer, and no bathtub. Hide

A lovely characterful chapel that has been tastefully furnished by the owners giving it a very homely feel. The welcome pack was a lovely touch including produce from Botton Village, as were the dog beds and bowl. The property was only missing a useable garden, however it is situated in stunning scenery within easy access to both the moors and coasRead moret. We and our 2 dogs loved the local dog-friendly beaches. We didn't miss the TV and could access Wi-Fi via mobiles. We would highly recommend it. Hide

Beautiful cottage for 2 people in centre of national north moors park. Very clean. Kitchen is well equipped if you fancy an evening cooking. Very limited internet connection in cottage but that wasnt problematic for us. No tv. Lovely fireplace that heated whole cottage. Highly recommend.
