Absolutely gorgeous property sitting in lots of grounds, would recommend for a quiet break, but be aware it is not walkable to the village and the road is unmade

A delightful lodge in a quiet rural location. The garden is ideal to relax in and unwind. Although a little off the beaten track it is worth it.

A lovely holiday let in the middle of nowhere. Very tranquil and great for watching the birds. Lovely garden and to have sole use of this was fantastic. Very well equipped and even the knives were sharp. We explored north west Devon, but you could have chilled in the garden. Not for those who dont like driving around narrow Devon lanes.

Julien is a conscientious and considerate host, location is extremely remote, if you want splendid views of miles of Devon valley countryside with not a soul in sight... this is it. Very spacious and cat friendly garden leading to the valley below. Before booking, we were put off that the lodge is attached to host's cottage property but Julien makeRead mores every effort to be discreet and the lodge is solidly engineered and extremely private, including sound proofing.
