This sweet little getaway is tucked away at the bottom of a lane and situated within the owners grounds of 8 acres. Renovated in 2015 with open-plan Lounge/kitchen/diner featuring granite work surfaces and a charming woodburner.

Just off the driveway is a 5 mile footpath which meanders through the surrounding countryside, perfect to blow the cobwebs away. Positioned in the timeless landscape of rural Lancashire, the area is relatively undiscovered but is fast becoming known for its culinary delights. Explore the two historic market towns of Clitheroe and Longridge, brimming with individual boutiques, fine restaurants and historic treasures or walk part of the 70 mile Ribble Way, taking in the unspoilt views. Other local attractions include Clitheroe Castle, Bowland Wild Boar Park and Browsholme Hall. Within an hour, drive to Blackpool, the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales.

The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size and 1 single with additional single pullout bed. Shower room: with shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with woodburner (first basket of logs included) and smart TV. Kitchen area electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Outside: courtyard area to the front of the property. Amenities: off-road parking for 2 cars. Bed linen, towels, electric, heating and Wi-Fi included. 1 medium size dog welcome. Location: pub and shop within walking distance.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The Stables- Middle Warble Hey Farm We stayed for a week at the Stables whilst visiting family in the area, and had a wonderfully peaceful time there. The cottage is very stylish, comfortable and well equipped - a perfect countryside escape! There are plenty of picturesque villages along winding country lanes in close proximity, together with the fRead moreacilities of Bradford close by. Cottage was lovely very cosy on cold winters evening. Decor tasteful and all appliances very modern. Hosts were lively and checked in on us on arrival just to make sure we were okay Bed very comfy and shower room lovely.
