A stylish bespoke timber lodge that’s perfect for four, beautifully finished with locally sourced materials and an eclectic style, offering a warm and friendly welcome to all that come to stay.

Set within the grounds of the owners small holding and just a short distance from the medieval market town of Ludlow. The peaceful hamlet of Ledwyche is surrounded by unspoilt views and farmland with way marked walks right on your doorstep for enthusiastic walkers and cyclists. For far reaching views take your pick from The Shropshire Hills to include the wide-open spaces of the Long Mynd, the craggy Stiperstones and Clee hills. The thriving market town of Ludlow is busy throughout the year with festivals celebrating good food, arts, crafts, theater and walking, the showcase for this being the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every September. Well served by the National Trust with The Weir Gardens, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall to name a few. Visit some of the traditional villages within the Black and White trail, Pembridge, Lyonshall and Leominster famed for its variety of antique and curiosity shops.

Set within a mature meadow this bespoke timber lodge offers accommodation that’s perfect for four. Step inside and leave your boots behind. The lodge has recently been constructed and has the benefit of modern insulation and an electric heating system throughout. The living space is great for socializing with an open plan lounge and kitchen with dining area. The lounge offers a wood burner and TV to relax in front of after a day of exploring the area. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and induction hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The property offers two bedrooms which comprises of one double and one twin with bathroom which offers a shower over the bath with WC.

Outside you will find an enclosed garden with furniture. There is parking for two cars as well as an undercover bicycle store. It is therefore, advisable that you contact us before you book to ensure the property meets your specific needs and requirements.

The Nut House felt like home from the moment we arrived. A lovely property in a great location. Watching the wildlife in the garden was such a pleasure, as was exploring the local area. We hope to return to Shropshire soon and would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

We had a fantastic stay in the Nut House, which is perfectly situated to get into Ludlow or the surrounding area. The lodge Is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need. The setting is beautifully tranquil and would be great for both families or couples. The Nut House is wonderful. Beautifully presented, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We spent hours watching the abundant wildlife, rabbits, foxes, bats, red kites and of course the squirrels. Sally & Dale gave us a warm welcome and were on hand if needed, but not at all intrusive. The property is a little out of town, about a 40 minute walk, tRead morehough the park & ride bus is only a few minutes walk away. Sally even offered a lift if we needed. A lovely place to stay! This was a great place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation, very clean and well presented. The location is stunning, in glorious peaceful countryside just outside Ludlow. It was particularly good to have such a nice outdoor area, with decking patio and a garden. Lots of wildlife to observe and hear! We have just had a lovely stay at the Nut House. The property was clean and well equipped. The location is within walking distance of Ludlow and amenities. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, especially the squirrels.

Close to the town, very quiet, handy for the A49, supermarkets and the park and ride. The Lodge is really well presented, clean and we would definitely stay here again on a break. Parking and outside seating (watching the wildlife a bonus)

The Nut House is a gem of an accomodation which was perfect for our family. The size, layout and resources were all spot on and made for a lovely weeks stay. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in, the kitchen was spacious and clean, the outside area was full of birds, bats and hedgehogs. It is a perfect base for accessing Ludlow anRead mored lots of other surrounding places such as Telford, Shrewsbury and Ironbridge. Sally and Dale were very accomodating and friendly. Gorgeous place, beautifully furnished and decorated, nice welcome pack. Loved the bird feeders, which were very well used! Appreciated the supply of bird nuts too! Very peaceful, lovely setting.
