A stylish ground floor apartment, located in the charming village of Great Ayton situated on the northern tip of the North York Moors National Park, providing excellent walking opportunities.

The attractive village of Great Ayton lies on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, at the foot of the Cleveland Hills. Great Ayton is famous for being the boyhood home of Captain Cook where you can now visit The Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum. The village consists of a mixture of pretty stone cottages, two village greens, and a river running alongside, making it a popular picnic spot in the summer months. To the north of the village, the view is dominated by Roseberry Topping, a 330-metre hill. There are a good range of shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. Around the village are several interesting walks, and Great Ayton makes a great base for walkers wishing to explore the stunning countryside.

A warm and welcoming ground floor apartment with contemporary interior in a Grade II Listed stone building, formerly a Joiners and Undertakers. Step into a generously sized hallway with room for your coats and boots, very useful after a day of exploring. Head through into the open plan living room with a spectacular arched window which incorporates the contemporary kitchen, dining space and offers high-quality furnishings where you can spend an evening in front of the Smart TV. Prepare all your home-cooking in the fully equipped kitchen which includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge. There is also a washer/dryer for those holiday practicalities. Enjoy your meal at the dining table with a few drinks and plan your next adventure. There are two bedrooms, one king-size and a twin room both with plenty of space for storing your things. To complete the accommodation there is a bathroom with a shower over bath where you can look forward to relaxing after a busy day.

There is off-street parking for one car.

We had a really enjoyable Easter stay at the Joinery. Having off-road parking was an advantage as Great Eyton can get quite busy on a sunny day. The accommodation was clean, nicely decorated and welcoming and everything was easy to operate. It was very cosy. The location is a beautiful spot for exploring that part of Yorkshire. There is a Co-op in Read morethe village and several restaurants/cafs. I'd thoroughly recommend. Hide
