This stylish property is within a Shropshire village with stunning countryside views

Enjoying an elevated location with far reaching views across to the Black Mountains and landscaped gardens which you are free to roam; just perfect for family and friends to enjoy what this thriving county has to offer. The property adjoins the owners' home but privacy is assured.

Knowbury, a delightful and well positioned village surrounded by unspoilt views and farmland with way marked walks and bridle way right on your door step for enthusiastic walkers and cyclists. Just a short distance from Ludlow, a thriving market town, busy throughout the year with festivals celebrating good food, arts, crafts, theatre and walking, the showcase for this being the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival held every September. Well served by the National Trust with The Weir Gardens, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall to name but a few. Visit some of the traditional villages within the Black and White trail, Pembridge, Lyonshall and Leominster famed for its variety of antique and curiosity shops.

On the ground level of the property you will find a lounge with TV and DVD player and patio doors leading outside area and benefit from stunning views across the countryside. You will also find a well equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. Upstairs offers 3 bedrooms 1 double with balcony and TV/DVD. 1 twin with TV/DVD and 1 single with TV/DVD, there is also a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Outside you will find a garden with patio area including garden furniture and fire pit. There is ample parking. 1 dog welcome the owner has a field with no livestock in which they are happy for guests to exercise their dog in addition to the garden. Shop 2 miles and pub within walking distance.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Mariet and Alan have been absolutely perfect hosts. The cottage is beautifully furnished to the highest standard, with everything you need. The cottage has spectacular views and has been a home from home. It was the perfect place to spend a Christmas with the family, with plenty of space, but also a cosy and comfortable feel. A lovely, well equipped cottage in a fantastic location. A generous welcome hamper from friendly and helpful owners. Kids loved feeding the alpacas and goats and we would definitely come back again!

Had a great holiday at cats whiskers, amazing views from property. Great welcome pack. Owners are very friendly but unobtrusive, we all loved the garden especially the children . Children enjoyed feeding the goats and alpacas. All in all a great week in great cottage.

Fantastic location, lovely hosts, great week was had by all ages , garden was beautiful and the outlook is amazing. Would love to go back. Only small downside is the Wi-Fi was very slow but this did not impact on our great holiday

We had a wonderful week & would absolutely recommend it, especially for families with young children. The garden is amazing - a treehouse, swings, walk to the pond, fire pit, fairy trail & goats & alpacas! Not to mention the incredible view. What a beautiful property with the most stunning views; the perfect post-lockdown tonic. The cottage was built on a hillside with beautiful views and a warm welcome from the owner. A homemade chocolate cake, local eggs and other extras were waiting for us. There were local walks easily accessed from the cottage, a local pub and just a few miles from Ludlow and many other places of interest. This cottage was outstanding. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this one we have rated as number 1. The views are amazing and the surroundings great. Walks from the cottage were interesting and there are lots of walking opportunities further afield if needed. We found the local Pub friendly and the food great. The cottage was excellent, it is set in a beautiful garden and the view is spectacular. It was clean, comfortable and the welcome basket with croissants and a home made cake was wonderful. Mr and Mrs Procter couldn't have been more helpful and we would highly recommend the cottage.
