The kitchen area is well-equipped with the electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Maybe enjoy some seasonal produce from the gardens as part of your meal, whilst you enjoy a meal at the dining table perfectly positioned by the picture window to embrace the view over the garden and countryside. After a full day out relax in the lounge on the comfy sofa, plan your holiday activities, listen to music, watch a film on TV or lose yourself in a good book. Open the bi-folding doors to really let the outside in or for cosy nights in, light the wood burner and snuggle up on the sofa. My wife and I stayed for our 4th year anniversary as well as my wife's birthday. The secluded location was wonderful, peaceful and serine. We were able to see the Stars which was amazing and also went in some nice walks whilst enjoying the luxury of the cottage. The owners were also very accommodating and we shall definitely be returning in the sumRead moremer. Amazing stay and a lovely experience in the country and I recommended for all. Hide

Beautiful quiet warm cottage with friendly hosts. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and especially snuggling up in the evening in front of the log burner. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed peaceful nights sleep. All the facilities were great, very clean with lovely dcor and touches. Internet access was good and I would definitely return.

Glorious autumnal tranquillity, we had a great relaxing break at the Bolt Hole, a really lovely place with all the facilities you need. An excellent location for exploring the Welsh border area with plenty of places to visit. Even though we travelled to the Bolt Hole on one the wettest days of the year there was no problems accessing the location dRead moreown the road/lane. A great place and very nice flap jacks. Hide

The Bolt hole was a lovely property to stay in travelling to places within Shropshire itself and Wales. The property was really comfortable and had everything we needed home from home.

Lovely place to stay, very cosy cottage. The owners George and Jane were very welcoming. Location is great for exploring the area but getting some peace and quiet.
