Superb seaside apartment offering breath-taking views over Westward Ho! Sands and just a short walk to pubs, shops, and restaurants.

This delightful apartment boasts spectacular views of Westward Ho! beach and the dramatic North Devon coastline beyond. The blue-flag beach is no more than 50 metres away and is popular with walkers and surfers. The North Devon Surf School is practically on your doorstep if you fancy having a go! At the far end of the beach, Northam Burrows Country Park is a quiet oasis, and makes a lovely place to walk or play among the sand dunes. The Royal North Devon golf course is the oldest in England, making Westward Ho! a great weekend golfing destination. Travel a couple of miles to the fishing village of Appledore, with its rich maritime history, quaint streets and quayside lined with gorgeous eclectic shops, galleries and restaurants. Within 20 miles you will find Clovelly, the harbour town of Bideford and the popular Milky Way Adventure Park.

The property can be accessed via the front entrance of the building or the lift. On entering the property, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is dominated by the full-length glass windows which look out to sea, and offers comfortable sofas, TV/DVD and access out to the balcony. Dining here with this view doesn’t need a reservation, and you can enjoy it at breakfast, lunch or dinner. The kitchen area, which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, makes eating-in a breeze. Also, on this floor is a separate WC which can be found off the hallway. The stairs lead up to the first-floor landing area with a handy utility cupboard with washing machine and tumble dryer. There are two bedrooms in the apartment, the first of which is a king-size with an en-suite shower room and WC; the second bedroom has 2ft 6" twin zip-and-link beds (which can be made into a king-size on request). The bathroom with shower over bath and WC completes the accommodation.

Outside, the property benefits from a spacious balcony which enjoys uninterrupted views across the beach and out to sea. Here, guests will find garden furniture, perfect for enjoying al fresco dining or relaxing with a drink as the sun sets. There is allocated private parking for one car in the underground car park (lift takes you to the ground/first floor), plus additional parking in the gated car park at the front of the building.

Super location: convenient, clean, comfortable and lovely and warm with a view that we never tired of. Some niggles that irritated (no cleaning materials, insufficient towels, no spare loo rolls, only one washing/dishwashing tablet) but we still had a wonderful stay.

This was our 2nd stay at 17 Horizon View, it is spotlessly clean, the bed linen and towels are perfectly white and fresh. The apartment and equipment are so clean, it always smells amazing when you walk in for the 1st time, it is a proper home from home. Superb location, just minutes from restaurants and shops, with a great selection of places to eat. Great split level apartment with living area and balcony, with superb sea views, and toilet, on ground level, with bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper level. Secure underground parking and lift to apartment. Great location to explore North Devon.

Amazing week, fantastic location, especially as we had a week of almost perfect weather, with sunsets over the sea right outside the balcony.
