Lovely stylish apartment set within a Grade II listed Georgian Manor house: a stunning couple’s retreat situated just a ten-minute drive from Coniston Water and Lake Windermere.

This first-floor apartment is located in the grounds of a beautiful Georgian manor house in the small village of Spark Bridge, within walking distance of the local pub. Sitting on the southern edge of the Lake District National Park, the property is perfectly positioned for enjoying day trips to Coniston Water and Lake Windermere. On Coniston Water, beautifully restored Victorian steamers run up and down the lake, allowing visitors to take in the full-grandeur of the surrounding landscape. For a more active view of the lake, the boating centre in the village of Coniston has a large range of watersports on offer, including stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and windsurfing.

This first-floor apartment is reached via a shared entrance which leads onto an impressive staircase taking guests to the apartment’s door. Once inside, guests will find a light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner furnished with bright, contemporary decor. A window seat allows guests to fully enjoy the magnificent garden views, whilst there are two plump sofas from which guests can watch the Smart TV/DVD. A dining table sits behind the lounge area, beyond which the contemporary kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Attractive views of the grounds can also be enjoyed from the chic bedroom with its double bed and carefully chosen furnishings. An en-suite shower room offers a shower and WC, whilst there is also a separate bathroom offering a shower over half-size bath and WC.

Outside, the property enjoys a private patio area where guests will find a garden furniture, whilst all of the apartments share access to the extensive landscaped gardens. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Well presented bright, clean and spacious apartment in a lovely building, beautiful views and gardens.Suited our needs perfectly but if you wanted to walk to pubs etc may be a little out of the way.

A very comfortable apartment with wonderful views from the lounge over the estuary in a quiet location. The standard of all the equipment and utensils were of the highest standard and a bonus to have two bathrooms. The location was perfect for exploring the southern Lake District.

Very comfortable, quiet and stylish apartment, off the beaten track but very well positioned for southern Lakes and Cartmel peninsula. Hosts gave good information about the apartment and about local walks and pubs. It was good to be able to retreat to somewhere so nice.

Summer Hill House is close to Windermere and Coniston but a very quiet location. Beautiful apartment. Very clean. Everything you need is provided. Lovely views out of the lounge window across the lawns, then trees and the estuary. We spent a lovely week in this apartment which is one of five in a large, converted country house set in its own beautiful and spacious grounds. It is roomy, well furnished/equipped (incl OS maps and binoculars) throughout, and very clean . Everything works incl the Wifi. There are two parking bays for each apartment. Great apartment and great location. It was out first holiday with our 10 month old baby, with some early wake up calls but the views over the gardens and valley from the living room are really worth getting up for.
