There are also many National Trust Properties and gardens including Blenheim Palace and Chastleton House, with Brook Cottage Garden, the Bloxham Museum and the Civil War battlefield of Edgehill also well worth a visit. For shoppers, Bicester shopping village is within easy access and offers a great day out. Foodies will love the selection of nearby pubs and restaurants, and the local French artisan bakers.

We enjoyed a lovely 6 days at Salamander Studio. Everything about the Studio was first class and the welcome hamper was very much appreciated. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are lots of little villages to visit within easy driving. Slightly further afield is Banbury, Stratford and Bicester outlet village. Great place to stay...cosy, clean and great location. 20 mins from Stratford Upon Avon and only a couple mins drive to the nearest town and shops.
