This pretty cottage nestles between other homes and is set slightly back from the rural village road. With a cosy and contemporary interior, its just the place to get away from it all.

Set in a delightful village, with friendly locals you will soon feel right at home.  For a romantic getaway or a small family holiday, it’s a haven. Pick up the Two Moors Way and enjoy traffic-free walking or cycling, keeping an eye out for the wildlife along the way. The coast, as well as the moors, both Exmoor and Dartmoor, are just a short distance away, as are the beaches at Westward Ho! and Exmouth, both about an hour’s drive. There's lots to do in the area; enjoy a Devon cream tea, shop in Devon’s Pannier markets. Visit RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, or wander the fishing villages at Clovelly and Appledore.

Stepping into this property, you find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen area provides everything you will need to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The dining area allows for a quick snack or a more formal evening meal if you prefer, the lounge area has a French dresser, exposed beams, stone feature fireplace with cosy wood burner, and the comfortable seating urges you to sit down and relax. Enjoy a film on the Smart TV or just sit quietly and read. Heading upstairs, there are two bedrooms - one double and one single room - and the bathroom completes the accommodation with a shower over bath and WC.

Outside is a small, enclosed seating area with bistro table and chairs; a space which enjoys the morning sun. There is allocated off-road parking on the gravel driveway for one car.

A great cottage, very cosy. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, suggesting places for us to visit as new visitors to the area. The village shop is delightful. There are country footpaths straight from the front door. We would definitely come again. Thank you.

Lovely quiet location and as long as you dont mind driving you have lots of destinations in different directions, so you can avoid the rain. I am sure there were lots of walks from the house found a few but you would need a map to join them all together.

Ideal spot for exploring both Exmoor and Dartmoor. Easy drive to Exeter, Okehampton and other main towns. A good footpath network around the Village. The Village is situated in the Heart Lands of Devon where it is peaceful and quiet

Lovely little place in a quite Devon village, loads of walks, fab shop and know the pub to excellent when open - although a wealth of local pubs in area. Exeter is easy for a shop and North Devon coast within 40 mins reach. Why go to the busy south coast when Mid Devon offers so much.
