Built from golden stone, synonymous with the Cotswolds, the cottage is situated within the heart of one of the most picturesque villages in the north of this region. The village of Longborough is famous for the opera promenade concerts in the summertime and tea room and local inn. There’s also a community run shop next door. Here, you are midway between the wonderful market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh where there is a plethora of chic independent shops, pubs and restaurants. The Cotswold Way also passes through Longborough, great for keen walkers and cyclists. For enthusiastic gardeners visit Batsford Arboretum and garden centre. Do also visit award-winning Daylesford organic farm shop; within easy access. Further afield Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon are both great for a day at the races, historic trails or shopping. They also have many festivals and events throughout the year including food, literature, jazz and walking.
