Forming part of a popular village inn, this cool and contemporary apartment provides stylish, inviting and relaxing accommodation for families discovering both the Solway Coast and the Lake District.

The thriving village of Great Clifton makes a fantastic base for exploring this beautiful part of Cumbria. There are some lovely footpaths, local country roads and quaint villages to explore in the immediate area. Heading west, the Solway Coast is within easy reach, with pretty beaches in the bustling coastal town of Workington (4.5 miles) and the popular seaside resort of Maryport (9 miles). Other coastal attractions include the Roman-era Milefortlet 21, the Lake District Coast Aquarium and the Senhouse Roman Museum (all within 12 miles). Travelling inland, you can visit the historic town of Cockermouth (5.5 miles) before entering the Lake District, with the Lakes Distillery and the Lake District Wildlife Park both near Bassenthwaite Lake (11.5 miles).

The apartment is accessed via an external staircase with twelve steps. Entering the property, the stylish kitchen/diner is a sociable space perfect for cooking and sharing all your favourite meals. Featuring sleek worktops, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, the kitchen is equipped with everything you may need, along with a welcoming dining table. Heading through to the cosy lounge, you will find plenty of seating, a TV and a flame effect electric fire, making this an ideal space to snuggle up in the evening with a good book or favourite film. The sofa doubles as a sofa bed to accommodate a fifth guest on request. Exploring further, the double bedroom has plenty of storage space and an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. There’s also a delightful twin room which can be made up as a double room on request, and features an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, steps lead down into a small enclosed courtyard with outdoor furniture which makes a pleasant spot for a morning coffee as you plan the day’s events. Ample parking is available in the inn’s car park, and the inn itself has a welcoming bar and restaurant.

Lovely apartment with everything you need, warm and comfortable, would highly recommend. Well placed for visiting the Lakes and the surrounding areas.

Absolute lovely place would go again pub restaurant on doorstep and everything in lake district a little car ride away beautifull scenery couldnt foult it. staff is friendly and very helpfull
