Situated on a private estate, within easy reach of the Brecon Beacons, including Pen Y Fan and Corn Ddu.

With a huge number of activities on your doorstep, choose from a hike up one of the famous Brecon Beacons, a gentle stroll or a family friendly cycle ride along the Brecon & Monmouth Canal. The Rivers Usk & Wye are both nearby for fishing, with day permits for the Usk available in Crickhowell and canoes for the River Wye can be rented in nearby Glasbury. The estate is within easy driving distance of four of our favourite Welsh towns:  Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Crickhowell and Abergavenny. There are plenty of  great dining options nearby, from the renowned Walnut Tree in Llandewi Skirrid to the locally recommended The Three Horse Shoes in Groesffordd, or The Royal Oak in Pencelli.

On Entering the property, you will see how the period charm has not been lost, despite the loving restoration of this cottage. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and washer/dryer. The spacious and yet cosy lounge/diner has a wood burner, (first basket of logs included), and luxurious seating from which you can relax and enjoy the Smart TV with Blu-Ray or read one of the many books. A table and chairs extends to accommodate six for dinner,  if required. Underfloor heating completes the comfort on the lower level. Upstairs is a spacious master bedroom with super-king size bed and another twin bedroom. Both share the fully tiled wet room with waterfall shower, complete with robes, slippers and fluffy towels and toiletries supplied by Noble Isle.

There are French windows leading to the private terrace with outdoor furniture and there is also a lawn to the front of the cottage which also has table and chairs. Beyond the estate you have access to acres of private woodland and parkland, and there is private parking available with a bike store. Electric vehicle charging now available on site at an extra charge.Two well behaved dogs are welcome.

PLEASE NOTE -  all arrivals must be either a Monday for 4 nights, or a Friday for 3 nights, or 7 night durations starting on Monday or Friday.

Cottage was lovely. Every attention to detail had been considered. There was everything there that you needed and more.. cottage was luxurious and cosy and we had a wonderful stay. It exceeded my expectations. Top marks.

A lovely little cottage in a great location, well equipped and very clean.What more can you ask for.?.Home from home!.Plus a bonus to have an enclosed field to walk our two dogs in on site and a treatment studio offering massages. All two and four legged visitors left refreshed and happy after our stay to celebrate our daughters 30th.!
