Set within the heart of the countryside, this peaceful retreat is perfect for couples wanting to enjoy the best of the Brecon Beacons, with access from your doorstep into the picturesque valley and the Hatterrall Ridge.

Peacefully tucked away in the valley, this charming retreat is surrounded by peaceful walking routes - enjoy a lazy stroll alongside the River Honddu or take on one of the many footpaths that will guide you up onto the Hatterrall Ridge where you can join the Offa’s Dyke National Trail across to the Hay Bluff or dip back down into Llanthony Priory. By car, you are just 15 miles from Hay-on-Wye, where you will follow the hillside pass across the valley before you drop down into the vibrant market town that is famed for books. Other nearby market towns include Abergavenny and Crickhowell, offering farmers markets, pubs, shops, and restaurants brimming with locally sourced produce. For group activities, you can arrange horse riding locally, canoeing from Glasbury, fishing on the Wye, and cycling.

Enjoy the views as you climb through the valley; the studio enjoys an elevated location with views out onto the valley. Step inside to a small lobby where you can leave the day behind - there's plenty of space to store muddy boots and coats before you continue into the heart of the home. The accommodation is open-plan offering a cosy lounge with a wood burner and a Smart TV - relax and enjoy a favourite film or chapter of a good book. For dining, a table and chairs perfect for two is set to the side. A well-equipped kitchen offers a place for you to enjoy preparing local produce with an electric oven and hob, microwave, and dishwasher (a full-sized fridge/freezer is situated in the front lobby). And when the day is done, there is a bedroom with a king-size bed finished with beautiful linens and bathrobes along with a shower and WC.

Open the patio doors and step out onto the private terrace; here you can enjoy supper outside with seating for two and a charcoal BBQ. For golfing enthusiasts, there is a golf net which you are free to use. There is off-road parking for one car and storage for bikes.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Fabulous bed, linens & towels were luxurious, great kitchen with everything you needed, wonderful setting with glorious views. Fire pit was such a bonus. Quiet, secluded and private.
