Set in a peaceful location nearby Snowdonia yet ideally situated for a number of attractions and adventure activities, this rural cottage is perfect for both small families and couples.

Tucked away on the eastern edge of Snowdonia National Park, this property is set in a peaceful location yet there is plenty to do in the local area to keep everyone entertained. This cottage is halfway between the towns of Conwy and Betws y Coed – explore Conwy’s castle and estuary location, while in Betws y Coed there’s plenty of great places to shop, especially for the outdoor enthusiast. Enjoy the sights of the National Park or visit some of the family attractions nearby which include Surf Snowdonia, the Welsh Mountain Zoo and Bodnant Garden. The area is also excellent for many thrilling activities including mountain biking, white water rafting and mountaineering, you can also find course fishing which is under 2 miles away at Vale of Clwyd Angling Club..

The living room of this single-storey property is the perfect cosy retreat, where you can curl up on the comfortable seating next to the wood burner (initial supply of logs provided) and relax while watching the TV/DVD. There is also a selection of books, games and films provided to provide even more entertainment. The modern and cosy kitchen/diner is the first room you’ll be greeted by when you step into the house, fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a meal or just a light snack. Features include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, while the dining area has a table and chairs which easily seat four and a stereo where you can play your favourite tunes. This cottage has two bedrooms: a master super-king-size bedroom and a double. The super-king-size bed can be made up into a twin as it is a zip-and-link bed. This bedroom also boast views out to the surrounding valley as well as an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom which features a free-standing bath, separate walk-in shower, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside of the property, you can relax in the patio area to the front of the house, where there is a picnic bench and some wonderful views out to the surrounding countryside. The rest of the enclosed garden features a large lawn. Ample off-road parking is available to the front of the cottage.

My wife wrote a better review within a log book at the cottage. We enjoyed our stay here , its ideally located with beautiful views and is central enough to get to almost any place within Snowdonia. The cottage itself provides a secluded, serene spot to relax in. Its just right for a family of 4. A beautiful cottage with a stunning view, very close to Surf Snowdonia and Betsw-y-coed. Beds very comfy, lovely bathroom and woodburner supplied with logs which were very welcome. Couldn't have asked for more.

We had a lovely time, the cottage is beautiful and cosy and warm and it a stunning setting. It was very quiet and we all slept brilliantly. We would definitely return. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking proper meals not just with the basics. Thoroughly recommend!

This is the second time we have been here and love this remote little spot. Such a great place for the kids too who loved playing football on the lawn and sitting in front of the fire when the evening got chilly.

This was our first break as a family in North Wales and we had a lovely time. In a great location to explore Snowdonia and surrounds. We climbed more mountains and castle turrets than I care to count! The cottage is cosy and well-equipped and with beautiful views to boot. We couldnt have asked for more.

Many thanks for a great stay in your lovely cottage. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, watching the lambs and ponies and listening to the birds. The cottage itself was perfect, really well equipped and we loved the fluffy towels and bathrobes. Great walks nearby and we really enjoyed our trip up Snowdon. We would recommend the mine tour at thRead moree Slate Museum. The kids enjoyed the treetop bounce at Zip World. We also enjoyed a walk at Harlech Beach, the castle looked great another time! We had a lovely weekend here for New Year. Fantastic location and lovely cottage with stunning views. We thoroughly recommend having a drink in the Pen-Y-Gwryd hotel followed by a walk up the miners track. Hopefully we will be back again in the future. Thank you for a perfect break away!

A perfect location with spectacular scenery and beautiful sunsets to admire even better with a gin and tonic! Spent a fabulous few days here climbing Snowdon (highly energetic but worth it), visiting Caernarfon and the poppy display at the castle, viewing Conwy Falls and learning how to surf (its warmer than you think in October).
