Great Rollright is situated in The Cotswolds AONB, with easy access to the national road and rail network (via Kingham), and within easy travelling distance of Chipping Norton, Bicester, Stow-on-the Wold and Oxford. There’s no shortage of visitor attractions and historical places of interest in the region. Many people come to the Cotswolds for the beauty of its villages and rolling green countryside, which paints a picture of a traditional England, steeped in history, also punctuated with some fantastic views. Entering the cottage via the front door brings you straight into warm and welcoming living room. This space has been thoughtfully presented whilst in keeping with its traditional cottage feel. There is ample comfortable seating, so guests have prime spot in front of the wood burner and TV for a movie night. There is even bay window seating for those who like to watch the world go by whilst reading a book. The dining table and chairs are neatly tucked away and perfectly within reach of the all-important ‘Sweet Shop’ with its delicious retro collection in the alcove, for after dinner treats! The kitchen where you will notice just how the use of space has been so cleverly designed. There is a four-ring ceramic hob and electric oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer drawer and a mini Belfast-style sink. Go up the staircase and halfway you will find a landing with access to the bathroom and the first of two bedrooms. Spacious with vintage features including a tall, freestanding mirror. Next door is the main bathroom, a large, powerful rainfall shower-suite with WC. Through the doorway, and up a second staircase leads you to the opulent master bedroom - a light and airy with double bed, plenty of built-in wardrobe space, with a luxurious detailing and a sumptuous roll-top bath.
The front door opens directly out onto the village lane. There is no rear garden, so if you would like to bring your dog, you can exercise them in the local area. There is no onsite parking, but a space can easily be found outside the property. You will find the nearest pub and shops under 5 miles from the property.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
