A lovely, restored cottage set within the hillside of Tarbert, contemporary style with cosy wood burner and views over the harbour, perfect for families or romantic hideaway.

Tarbert is located on the shore of Lochfyne and is a sheltered harbour at the heart of a heritage fishing village. The shops, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance and settled snuggly around the harbour. Explore further afield, Kintyre is not only famous for cheese, malt whisky, seafood and sandy beaches but is home to the Machrihanish Golf course, a championship quality golf course, one of many quality golf courses throughout Kintyre and Argyll. These include Tarbert Golf Club, Dunaverty Golf Club and Carradale. The property is in the perfect location for a true Scottish adventure.

Step inside this charming cottage, as you enter the cottage you will find yourself in the hallway, The cottage consists of an open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner with a wood burner. Relax after a long day exploring and watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you could need during your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is also a comfortable dining area to enjoy romantic or family gatherings with beautiful views of the harbour. Continuing back through the hall you are met with a double bedroom which offers a tranquil place to relax and unwind and one twin. Across the hall from the twin bedroom, there is a bathroom with a bath over the shower and WC.

Venturing outside, head up the stairs towards the back of the property is the summer house, on a summer's day open the bi folding doors and relax on the sofa, listening to some music on the Bluetooth speaker and take in the picture postcard views of the village and marina below or on a cooler night close the doors over and enjoy a lazy evening stargazing with hot chocolate. There is a small patio with a picnic table at the front of the cottage where you can enjoy some al fresco dining on a warm evening. Off-road parking for one car is available.

The cottage exceeded expectations- provided such comfort and stylish decor, and the summer house - all together made a weeks holiday with kids so happy despite pretty challenging weather. Sitting in summer house regardless of weather, beautiful views in comfort. Just fabulous - will recommend and return

Love love love this cottage! What a perfect little stay. 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 young children just perfect. Home from home comforts are a real plus. The summerhouse is a bonus for those wfh and dont want to be disturbed or for catching up on your latest read. The accommodation was very comfortable. The owners have thought of everything for visitors' enjoyment of the property. Truly a home from home. Spotlessly clean. The location is so handy for the ferry and it's within walking distance of shops. The views from the cottage are fabulous whatever the weather. Great views, well equipped, not suitable for 4, only one 3 seater sofa, not really space for a chair! Driveway somewhat challenging can easily scrape bottom of a low slung car, which we did!

Lintbrae Cottage is a fabulous holiday let. Beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything you may need for week or longer stay. The Summer House is 'the icing on the cake' - great additional facility. An extremely well equipped and situated Cottage. Only had to get in car once in a week as enough to do locally if you enjoy walking. Very comfortable and warm although we were extremely lucky with the weather for early April. Batteries regenerated and would recommend to anyone, car parking space tight getting in but plenty of room once parked.

Fabulous wee cottage with amazing views even in rainy November! The owners seem to have thought of everything, there are clear instructions for all appliances and a great log burner for cosy warmth. Very modern and stylish decor, couldnt fault it at all. Already thinking about a return visit!

We loved our stay in Tarbert! The property had everything you could want for a great holiday. We felt very at home as soon as we walked through the door. Lots of great space saving ideas that I'm taking home with me. We met some lovely people and felt very welcomed by the whole village. Lintbrae cottage is lovely & quaint, just whats needed for a relaxing holiday. We loved the location just on the outskirts of the fishing village with easy walking access into Tarbert. Fantastisch ausgestattetes Cottage in toller und mit der besten Aussicht auf den Hafen von Tarbert. Wir hatten eine tolle,erholsame Woche und kommen gerne wieder. The cottage is very clean , comfortable and well equipped. It has beautiful views and the extra space in the garden room is fantastic. On arrival we found the parking to be a bit tricky. Be aware if you have a long or large car to draw forward into the parking bay. We decided to leave the car down on the Main Street and walk up most days.
