Bicester Hotel, Golf Club and Spa is just 9 miles, and even a day trip to London is very accessible by train from Thame, 9.5 miles, taking less than an hour each way.

You’ll easily be able to prepare romantic suppers in the excellent kitchen, then snuggle for the evening in the welcoming sofa, perhaps playing a board game or catching up on a favourite series on the Smart TV. On summer days, allow fresh air to flood in through the bifold doors, with lovely views of the garden or, in the winter, switch on the flame-effect electric fire for a flickering glow. There’s also a small desk in case you need to keep up with some admin.
