Gorgeous period townhouse with wonderful views, situated just steps away from the beach. Boasting a games room, parking and stunning gardens, it’s the perfect beach retreat for families, couples and groups.

Marazion is a beautiful Cornish town with its quirky shops, cafes and art galleries. You can access the causeway to the iconic St Michael’s Mount just 150 metres from the doorstep. The town boasts fine sandy beaches making it an ideal location for relaxing bucket-and-spade days. Mount’s Bay has so much to see and do. Nearby Porthleven (9 miles) offers an array of fine cafes and restaurants. Rinsey Head (6.5 miles) is a dramatic spot for a walk, with Prussia Cove (4 miles) a true hidden gem. Penzance (4 miles) has a host of pubs and interesting shops and next door is Newlyn (5 miles), famous for the school of art, and then there’s the beautiful village of Mousehole (8 miles).

The grand entrance hallway is simply stunning with plenty of room for coats to be stored. The first room is the fabulous living area, which sets the scene with its impressive proportions. The high ceiling is complemented with lovely plaster works and an ornate feature fireplace, cosy seating and Smart TV. Take in the outstanding views across to St Michael's Mount from this room. Moving through to the back of the house, you’ll find a wonderful reading/snug room with shelves of books and comfortable seating to relax and read up on Cornwall. A little further on you’ll enter the dining room, with a beautiful large table and high ceilings. This room has a wonderful feeling of space and light and opens to the courtyard, making it a great space for entertaining. Off the dining room is the large spacious kitchen with an electric range cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave - all you need to cook up a spectacular meal. Off the kitchen is a large walk-in pantry, a spacious fully fitted utility room and laundry boasting a washing machine and tumble dryer. From here a separate staircase leads to the back of the house up onto the first floor where you will find the first two of the six bedrooms. One twin room with lots of space and natural light and one king-size room. There is also a games room at the end of the corridor with access out onto the garden. Moving along the narrow corridor is the family bathroom with shower over the bath and WC and a separate WC. Overlooking the front of the house is a further two king-size rooms facing towards the mount through beautiful bay windows providing the perfect view to wake up to. Moving up the main staircase to the top floor are the last of the bedrooms: a super-king-size bedroom and a double - grand and spacious with sea views. This floor offers its own shower room with shower and WC.

The outside offers an enclosed garden with manicured lawn bordered with well-established shrubs, all surrounded by lovely period brick walls. There are two patio areas, offering sea views across Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount. There is a summer house with seating and a beautiful courtyard patio area directly outside the kitchen door which provides a lovely space to dine al fresco. There is gated parking for up to three standard-size cars (large cars will not fit) with additional parking in the local car park (five-minute walk) for £50 per week (subject to availability).
