This wonderful barn conversion is packed with character and has been lovingly renovated to offer families and friends a special rural retreat to explore the idyllic Cotswolds AONB. The cottage is located just outside the charming village of Mickleton where you can enjoy fine dining at one of the country pubs or coffee at one of the cafes. Awe-inspiring walks into the surrounding countryside can be accessed from the door including the Heart of England Way. The popular market town of Chipping Campden is just 4 miles away with its historic buildings, traditional shops and vibrant atmosphere. Explore nearby gardens and estates, such as the National Trust-owned Hidcote Manor Garden, which is renowned for its Arts and Craft design. Join the Cotswold Way walking trail at nearby Dover's Hill, also managed by the National Trust, a 754-foot hill with picturesque views. Stratford-upon-Avon is 8.5 miles away, well worth a day trip to visit Shakespeare’s birthplace or the RSC Theatre and enjoy a riverside walk whilst enjoying one of the many cafes and pubs.

After a busy day exploring the local area, head back to your unique cottage and relax in the peaceful surroundings. Enter the property into the hallway where you can kick off walking boots and hang up coats before heading into the stylish kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered holiday, allowing you to utilise some of the delicious local produce you are sure to find at one of the many farm shops in the area. Enjoy a delicious meal at the large oak table in the dining room. Continue through into the spacious lounge, which has been designed with total comfort in mind. Relax on the comfortable sofa or sink into one of the chairs in front of the wood burner. Enjoy a quiet night in with a movie on the Smart TV. The first of two bedrooms is also on the ground floor and has a king-size bed. It has a walk-in wardrobe and has been furnished to a high standard with luxurious linens ensuring a great night’s sleep. Next door you will find the bathroom with a spacious shower and bidet, which also has a heated towel rail. The second bedroom is up on the first floor and has a king-size bed and a single, again with lots of storage. The flexible bedroom set-up makes this property a great choice for friends and families who are exploring the area together.

Outside, there are three garden areas for guests to enjoy. The first is located just off the driveway and is a private enclosed space for you to enjoy a BBQ or for children or dogs to play. There is outdoor furniture allowing you to dine alfresco on the warmer evenings. The second garden is a shared courtyard garden which backs onto the owner's own home. This garden houses the owners’ chickens and is a lovely area for children to be able to collect eggs and meet the wildlife with the owners. Children can also play with the owner’s children in their playground and woodland play area, just ask to arrange.
