This delightful barn on a smallholding with alpaca, ponies, sheep and pygmy goats, offers a beautifully light and bright holiday home for up to six guests in the peaceful village of Hollington on the edge of the Peak District. From here, there are plenty of stunning walks or biking trails, many of which start from the village of Hollington and allow you to admire the natural beauty of the surrounding area. It’s also perfectly located to explore some of the nearby sites including Tutbury Castle, a medieval castle with a rich history or charming towns, such as Ashbourne (6 miles) and Bakewell (24 miles) which offer picturesque streets, quaint shops and traditional pubs. Those looking for a little bit more excitement will find plenty of outdoor activities including rock climbing, horse riding or paddleboarding or for real thrill seekers, the white-knuckle rides of Alton Towers are 16 miles.

This idyllic and contemporary barn conversion has a beautifully light and spacious interior with the open-plan living space downstairs benefitting from high, vaulted ceilings, bi-fold doors out to the garden and wonderful views of the countryside. Elegant and stylish décor and furnishings make this a fantastic home from home with the space effortlessly flowing from one room to another. The kitchen area is spacious and well-equipped, leading through to the lounge area on one side with its comfortable seating and views out to countryside and beyond. It also leads to the snug and dining area with its table and chairs perfectly positioned to make the most of the great outdoors. The snug also includes table football as well as more comfortable chairs for you to curl up on with a good book or just enjoy the views. This open-plan living space is perfect for family and friends to gather. The barn also has three beautifully finished bedrooms, all in soothing, calming colours – perfect for a restful night's sleep. The double bedroom, with its shower room and separate WC opposite is on the ground floor, whilst upstairs is a king size and a twin room along with a second stylish shower room.

Outside the property, you are treated to the most tranquil of settings as the property is located in an acre of land, enabling you immerse yourself in nature and really enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding Peak District. There’s also an outdoor dining area, perfect for planning your days with your morning coffee, or winding down after a day of exploring and watching the sun set.
