This spacious house is named after the owner's grandfather who had a haberdashery business on Market Place and whose family lived on Market Street over 75 years ago. It is tucked away behind Market Place and Kirkgate and just off Main Street. It offers a comfortable stay for couples and is well equipped throughout. As you walk into the property, you will find a small porch area with coat and shoe storage leading into a bright welcoming lounge/diner. There is a Smart TV and open fire to curl up in front of after a day out exploring. The newly refurbished kitchen is fully equipped including the latest Ninja air fryer and a Magimix coffee pod machine. If you are not tempted by Cockermouth's many pubs and restaurants, you have everything you need to dine at home in style. Up the stairs from the kitchen on the first floor there is a large bright king-size bedroom, a contemporary bathroom with free standing bath and separate shower. There is also a dedicated office corner for those who want to work in this home from home.
There is small front outside space with a bench where you can enjoy a morning coffee and watch the world go by.
