This beautiful retreat is the perfect choice for people looking to spend some quality time in total comfort. The property is just a 0.5 mile walk into the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, commonly referred to as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’, with the River Windrush gently flowing through the town. The picturesque riverside setting is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal or drink in one of the independent cafes and pubs. Stow-on-the-Wold is 4 miles away, another highlight of the region, with its traditional Cotswolds architecture and charming town centre. For active visitors, enjoy one of the many idyllic local walks, with easy access to the Cotswold Way and Winchcombe Way. Enjoy day trips from the property to Cheltenham for horse racing (15 miles), Stratford-upon-Avon (24 miles), to visit the birthplace of Shakespeare, and Oxford (28 miles) to visit the beautiful colleges.

It is situated within a complex, which consists of the owner’s' residence and another holiday cottage. Enter the estate from the main road via electronic gates.  Make your way to the spacious property, which has been designed to a premium standard to ensure total relaxation. Enter the open -plan living area, with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV . Open up the bi-fold doors and take in the stunning scenery. The stylish, fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering break, making use of some of the beautiful local produce you will find when out and about exploring. Enjoy a meal together on the dining table, which finishes off this lovely space. Continue into the bedroom, with a king-size bed and a  Smart TV. Convenient patio doors lead from the bedroom to the hot tub outside. The en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath is ideal for freshening up after a long walk.

Step out to the large patio from the lounge or bedroom and enjoy the beautiful hot tub. The patio overlooks the owner’s’ beautiful gardens, and a stylish awning is provided to ensure total privacy. When not in the hot tub, make use of the outdoor garden furniture and relax on warmer days.

Fantastic cottage on the outskirts of Bourton on the the Water. Much bigger than photos suggest with all the amenities needed for a great stay. Easy access to all the places we wanted to visit and quiet, private and secure location.

A very spacious and clean property. The views over the large garden and the countryside beyond were lovely, we spent a good deal of time watching the wildlife in the garden including foxes and birds of prey. The property is however located within 15 metres of the busy A429 with the traffic noise being intrusive at times. What a wonderful, large spotlessly clean , well equipped cottage. The view is fantastic, regularly saw a fox , deers , woodpecker and rabbits in the garden. Ideally located yet amazingly quite . We enjoyed a wonderful week at Bonnie View, the cottage is well equipped and comfortable. Bourton-on-the-water is lovely and plenty of places to visit in the surrounding areas. We would happily go back in the future.

We loved the accommodation throughout and appreciated the high class fixtures & fittings . Well equipped and very comfortable Woody was on hand and greeted us on arrival and gave us his time to talk us through everything including the Hot Tub. Access into Bourton on the Water was a 20 minute walk into the centre for numerous eateries, coffee shops Read moreetc. Large Co-op supermarket we felt it was pretty central for visiting all the picturesque villages and National Trust properties ..
