This beautiful holiday home offers contemporary interiors, nestled away in Mid Devon and surrounded by a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s a perfect, intimate retreat with a gateway to an abundance of delights nearby. The busy market town of Cullompton is a short 4-mile drive away, with a supermarket, lots of small independent shops, a wonderful bakery, butchers and regular farmers' markets. Take a trip to the Jurassic Coast and enjoy the beautiful beaches of Sidmouth (14 miles), Branscombe (17 miles) and Lyme Regis (21 miles). There are also a number of National Trust properties in the area including  Killerton (9 miles) and Knightshayes (14 miles).

Enter this gorgeous cottage and you’re welcomed into the downstairs open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To your left is a well-equipped kitchen area with everything you will need to rustle up a hearty breakfast or a tasty evening meal, and tucked away in the corner is a small dining space to enjoy. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa, with Smart TV and board games to entertain in the evenings. With character beams, cobbled walls and glass staircase panels, the stylish interior continues upstairs with a bedroom boasting a handcrafted king size bed and an en-suite. There is also a Smart TV for lazy mornings and a walk-in wardrobe space available to the side of the bed, complete with a Juliet-style balcony overlooking the garden space.

Outside to the side of the property is a gravelled courtyard space with charcoal BBQ and dining table and chairs. There is also a large, grassed garden which is shared with the owners but great for walking your four-legged friends (dogs must be kept on a lead).

The Stone Barn was excellent, clean and well equipped and the welcoming extras was a great bonus and appreciated , the gardens were well maintained and it was nice to sit out with a drink and enjoy the peace and quiet. An excellent barn conversion, very tastefully refurbished to a high standard. Everything was spotlessly clean and the sofa and bed were extremely comfortable. What a wonderful cottage! Everything we needed was there - plus a welcoming bottle of wine and nibbles . I cannot recommend The Stone Barn highly enough. Everything was of the highest standard, and the level of cleanliness was off the scale. This is the perfect cottage. It's well located, decorated very tastefully, extremely clean, the views to the massive garden are very relaxing and the attention to detail from the owners is amazing. We will definitely be coming back when we go to Devon. 5

This is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed at. Very clean and well equipped, plenty of towels and even dressing gowns provided. Lovely touches including the fresh free range chicken eggs and also chocolate easter eggs made the stay even better. Highly recommended.

The Stone Barn is just as comfortable and cosy as it looks in the photos and the welcome goodies made us feel very welcome indeed! I cannot recommend this beautiful cottage enough to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing break. I prolonged my stay as I was so happy there. Stone Barn is an ideal holiday destination Not too far from Cullompton where there is a large Tesco & a couple of lovely coffee shops & just along the road from a well equipped farm shop & cafe. The garden is a delight with chickens providing fresh eggs & packed full of colourful flowers. The accommodation is well equipped/ comfortable. Beautiful cottage. Really well equipped. Very welcoming hosts. Very useful welcome gifts. Good pub serving great food half mile away. An excellent place to stay really peaceful but only half an hour away from beaches.

The Stone Barn is a beautiful barn conversion in a great location with easy access to many of Devon's attractions. We stayed for a week, booked at very short notice (same day!) when our original holiday plans fell through. Marie & Steve could not have been more accommodating: welcoming gifts including freshly laid eggs, fizz and snacks! Such a gem. Comfortable settee, gorgeous, comfortable bed, large tv's in lounge & bedroom, decent table & chairs for dining in and out, walk in wardrobe, garden view from bedroom and well appointed shower room. Dog friendly pubs near by. Recommend The Otter for Sunday carvery.

A charming stone cottage, decorated to a very high spec,loved the huge french bed. Everything was there we needed. The huge garden was beautiful with mature trees and flowers,and to top it all the chickens, ducks and curly feathered pigeons were a delight. Would definitely recommend staying there. Hosts were very helpful.
