This stylish end-of-terrace stone cottage is nestled in a small riverside hamlet on the West Highland Way, less than 6 miles from the southern shore of Loch Lomond. The loch itself offers days of adventure with plenty of opportunities to play about on the water on a kayak, paddleboard, or guided boat trip. On dry land, you can browse the shops, grab a bite to eat and then spend some time visiting the SEA LIFE Aquarium or Birds of Prey Centre. Spend the day exploring Balloch Castle Country Park with 200 acres to explore, including walled gardens, nature trails and guided walks. In the evening, take a stroll along to the friendly local pub and restaurant (1 mile). Take the opportunity to explore Stirling, 21 miles away, with its own famous castle high up on the rocks or visit the city of Glasgow, 23 miles.

Enter this beautiful cottage in the spacious lounge and relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring. On a cooler evening, light the wood burner and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Next, is the kitchen with a beautiful wood counter; cook up a storm and set the table for a romantic meal. The stairs from the lounge lead you to a light and bright double bedroom where you can enjoy morning coffee overlooking the River Endrick, and there is also a family bathroom.

Venture outside across the single-track road to your own private hideaway overlooking the river. On a sunny day, relax on the sun loungers or go for a swim. In the evenings, turn on the fairy lights and take shelter in the bespoke summerhouse, and enjoy the heat from the wood burner. There is also a picnic table and BBQ.

Gem of a cottage. 'Snug' is the ideal word to describe this property, I was 'as a bug' from minutes of arrival. So relaxing, if you are looking for somewhere to chill, you would be hard pushed to find somewhere better.
