Visit Church Stretton (3 miles), a picturesque town with a wonderful mix of independent shops, cafes and pubs, alongside a range of outdoor activities to try. Whilst at the lodge, make sure to include a day trip over to Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO site (17 miles) and learn all about the history of the area whilst enjoying the beauty of the village that centres around the bridge. Another Shropshire gem is the market town of Ludlow (17 miles), famous for its stunning medieval architecture and majestic castle.
After a busy day exploring this beautiful corner of the UK, head back to your lodge to unwind and spend some quality time with friends and family. Make your way inside and step into the spacious, open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Enjoy a movie on the Smart TV from the comfortable corner sofa and spend cosy evenings beside the fantastic wood burner. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered break, allowing you to make use of some of the wonderful local produce available. The area is completed with a dining table that will comfortably seat your whole group ensuring you can enjoy a meal together. Continue through the lodge and you will find the two bedrooms, one with a double and single bed, and a further en-suite double room. This setup is ideal for couples travelling together and families who can utilise the additional single bed. Next to the bedrooms, you will find the family-sized shower room.
