The barn is conveniently located to enjoy a visit to the renowned National Trust property of Powis Castle (4.5 miles), take a ride on the Llanfair Light Railway (10 miles), explore the Offa’s Dyke National Trail, or bike ride along the beautiful Montgomery Canal leading to the Pond Nature Reserve with an array of local wildlife to spot. 5 miles away is the market town of Montgomery with Norman castle. Further afield are the foodie capital of Ludlow, Tudor Shrewsbury, and historic Ironbridge.

Approach the barn by passing the original 200-year-old cider press and park in the apple tree-lined car park. Step through the oak front door into the impressive lobby with a sky lantern, hang your coats, and leave your boots, and find a handy WC on the right. You will be welcomed into the double-height hallway with bespoke steel and glass staircase. This wonderful open space leads to the lounge area with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and a wood burner for cosy nights in with stunning rural views. The elegant, bespoke kitchen is designed to cater for a full house, with all the equipment you need to get creative, including a cocktail bar with swivel bar stools. The three large dining tables have been handcrafted from reclaimed timber from the old barn and are the perfect location for everyone to gather around for a meal. You will find the fully equipped utility just off the kitchen. After dinner, relax in the lounge, head to the old dairy snug with board games and books, or make your way to the games room with a ¾ size snooker table, Smart TV and seating. When ready for bed, choose from fourteen beautifully designed bedrooms for a wonderful night's sleep.

On the ground floor, you will find six step-free access bedrooms with individual doors to the garden. From the games room hallway, there are two king-size bedrooms, and a twin (zip-and-link can be super-king-size on request), all three en-suite. A further king-sized bedroom is located in the entrance hall with a large tub bath en-suite. The two ground-floor double bedrooms share a wet room with an accessible two-way door. Head upstairs to the remaining eight bedrooms, all of which are carpeted, some featuring stargazing sky lights. Choose from two king-size bedrooms both with Juliet balcony and en-suites, three king-size bedrooms with en-suites and a double bedroom with an en-suite. Finally, a king-size bedroom and twin (zip-and-link which can be made into a super-king-size on request) and share a stylish family bathroom with shower over the bath. Whichever room you pick, you will wake up to lovely views.

Set in beautiful rolling countryside, the garden is the perfect spot to unwind in one of the two hot tubs, enjoy al fresco dining at the table and chairs, and make use of the charcoal BBQ. Relax and enjoy games on the lawn and spark up the fire pit which is surrounded by bespoke brick seating. Sit back and relax whilst the children enjoy hours of fun on their very own wooden climbing frame with ladder, climbing wall, viewing platform, slide and two swings, offering fun all year round and a holiday to remember. Enjoy fabulous rural views from sunrise to glorious sunset. We rented this property for a 30th birthday, and everybody had an absolutely fantastic time! We were welcomed by the owners, who were very friendly and hospitable. They left us a very generous welcome package and had fresh flowers out downstairs which was a lovely touch! The barn itself was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was very well equippRead moreed. Having 2 hot tubs went down a treat with such a big group of us! 100% would recommend this property, and we will definitely stay again! Hide
