This thriving market town boasts excellent eateries, restaurants, boutique shops, and architectural gems, situated on the River Teme. Take a trip to historic Stokesay Castle, National Trust’s Croft Castle, Berrington Hall, or the Shropshire Discovery Centre all within 11.5 mile radius. Enjoy the AONB and explore the Shropshire Hills (17.5mls), join the Mary Webb trail, The Shropshire Way (3.5mls), and walks in the Mortimer Forest (6mls). The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Enjoy breakfast on the deck or dinner at the dining table. Bring the outside in and open the doors listening to birdsong over your meal. After dinner settle down on the comfortable sofa, plan your activities, watch a film on the Smart TV or just embrace the view. Walk through to the king-size bedroom where you will find doors onto the deck, Smart TV, and an en-suite shower room with WC. This is a stunning lodge for a romantic retreat with fabulous views over the water to wake up to.

Outside you have a private patio and deck with table, chairs, and charcoal BBQ overlooking the fishing pool with visiting wildlife and lawn area. It is set in 20 acres of grounds for you to explore. Fishing is available on site, which includes five fishing pools (fishing passes can be purchased directly with the owner). Ample private parking on site for 2 cars.

Beautiful location, exactly as shown in pictures. The property is very well thought out, with everything you need. The welcome basket s a lovely touch. We really enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful week staying at Frog Lodge. It was idyllic to be by the water and watching nature and the sunsets (and enjoying visits from Reggie and Ronnie the geese. Absolutely lovely lodge, very well equipped to a very high standard. Loved the deck area and the fishing was outstanding. A real home from home especially the resident ducks visiting every morning and the abundance of wild life in the surroundings. 5 minute drive from the beautiful town of Ludlow which is well worth a visit. If you wish for a tranquil location this is the place for you. The sitting out area is wonderful for complete relaxation. The lake has numerous birds, ducks and geese on and around it. Inside, the compact living and sleeping rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We had a lovely week exploring the area around Ludlow. We had a brilliant holiday. It was our 40th Wedding Anniversary and the location was perfect. It was peaceful, full of wildlife interest, comfortable and had everything we could need. We would recomend the location to anyone. It was a well thought out and equipped lodge. Frog Lodge is a wonderful retreat to relax and unwind. We enjoyed watching the daily visits from the Canadian Geese and their cute goslings. The Lodge is small but very well equipped with everything you need. Lots to see in the surrounding area but always nice to come back to this cosy retreat at the end of the day. We had an absolutely lovely few days at Frog Lodge, which is well placed with a lovely view over the lake. The cabin was very clean, really well equipped and the welcome pack was a nice touch. I stayed in frog lodge , on arrival it is behind double gates so is private which is nice the lodge is beautiful and the decking is straight onto the fishing pool that was perfect for me , inside the lodge we was welcomed with a nice hamper and even fresh milk in the fridge, the lodge is well equipped and to a very high standard, I can't recommend Read morethis enough if it's for fishing or just relaxing the whole place is just perfect, I will definitely be coming back.
