Gringley on The Hill is a pretty quaint village located in North Nottinghamshire, close to the borders with South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Take advantage of several pretty walks from the doorstep along canals and long footpaths - perfect to to clear your mind and relax in this peaceful part of English countryside. Within the village is a post office and a local pub serving tasty traditional pub food just a short walk away. The next village along, Misterton has a small local super-market and another two pubs if you don't feel like cooking. The property is situated between two breath-taking natural national parks; Lincolnshire Wolds and Peak District both with easy and challenging trails to discover - There's plenty to keep you occupied in this stunning area.
Step inside this charming period conversion, a former dovecote which has cleverly retained some of its former character. Kick off your shoes and coats and enter into this lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen, decorated in neutral tones giving it a bright and airy feel. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook up a good meal during your stay including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, plus seating and a table for two. The lounge area offers a comfy sofa to curl up on, so put your feet up in front of the TV and enjoy some well earned rest. Upstairs to the first floor is a wonderful bedroom with open beamed ceilings adding to the character, a large super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request at the point of booking) and a pretty window seat should you want a quiet moment to sit, relax and read a book. An en-suite shower room with shower and WC is the perfect start you day.
There is a small area outside should you wish to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening sun downer. Off-street parking is available for one car.
