Luxurious and private spacious ground floor wing of this wonderful Georgian manor house

Located in the picture postcard beautiful town of Beauly, nestled by the bank of the bonnie River Beauly, renowned for its salmon fishing. This picturesque town is situated at the very heart of the Highlands and is famous for its magnificent scenery, 13th Century priory and was also recently featured in the popular Outlander series. The town boasts good amenities with an array craft-based industries and offers a great selection of bespoke and independent shops, friendly inns and restaurants. Within easy reach of the Highlands capital of Inverness, Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric and The Black Isles. This town is also an excellent base for touring the world famous spectacular North Coast 500 route.

Stepping inside the luxurious private wing of this wonderful Georgian manor house, into the spacious hall, the perfect place to store all your outdoor clothing. Through to the light and bright stylish lounge, a great space to relax after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and in the evenings enjoy cosy nights in front of the roaring wood burner or enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Next is the galley kitchen, perfect for cooking up a storm with electric oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Followed by the delightful spacious dining room with TV, an ideal place to enjoy romantic meals together, with direct access out to the enclosed patio with seating area. Continuing back through the hallway you will find two luxurious bedroom’s both with ample storage space, a beautiful king-size and a pretty double. Finally completing this wonderful wing is the stylish bathroom with shower over a lovely roll-top bath and WC.

Venturing outside located directly next to the property is the fantastic private games room with table tennis, Subbuteo and an array of board games to enjoy. There are two seating areas at the front and to the side of the property enjoy wonderful garden views. To the rear of the property with direct access also from the dining room, is a fully enclosed patio ideal for al fresco dining, or lazy evening star gazing, perhaps with a wee dram, good local ale or a nice glass of wine. Ample off-road private parking is available.

What a beautiful place. The decor is modern country but in keeping with the history of the estate. Comfortable furniture and well fitted kitchen added to the enjoyment. The garden was lovely but too cold to use in winter. The owners were very helpful, meeting us on arrival and providing tips on things to see and do in the area. This is a delightful, lovingly furnished, decorated and equipped home base for a stay in the highlands. Uncountable opportunities for trips to explore and marvel over Scotlands beauty. We loved our stay in the Lovat Mackenzie.

The appartement is absolutely gorgeous, extremely well appointment (highlights were finding a face mask and a very tasty edible welcome pack, the log fire stove and two hot water bottles to keep our feet warm during the chilly February nights!). I can't recommend this beautiful apartment enough. Rowan's attention to detail and thoughtfulness combined with the elegant decor provides a perfect base for exploring the Highlands. We were sorry to leave and return to real life!

Had the most lovliest of weeks. Apartment is amazing and Rowan was easy to communicate with and so helpful. Gorgeous welcome pack for us with eggs, milk, coffee pods, bread and amazing cakes!!! We spent 2 weeks at the Lovat Mackenzie. It is the lower ground floor of the house and has been converted into an extremely spacious and comfortable apartment. It is very well equipped for a self catering holiday. Beauly is an excellent location for getting to visits places in any direction and has a good range of shops. There is lots to do in the Read morearea including some splendid riverside and coastal walks. The owners are demonstrate a lot of care and affection for the accommodation. Hide

This was a fabulous apartment, after seeing it in the pics & then arriving what you dont realise is how roomy & specious the properly is. It was literally a home from home that had absolutely everything we could possibly need. It was quiet & peaceful with wonderful grounds. Robbie & Rowan can never do enough for you. A garden apartment in a historical building, with beautiful gardens. The apartment is beautifully appointed, comfortable and was bedecked with flowers from the garden when we arrived. The place is a good location from which to explore the glens and firths in the area. Recommend.
