Peacefully tucked away within the grounds of the owner’s home, the beautifully finished annexe is simply perfect for couples wanting to get away and relax in the Gloucestershire countryside.

The peaceful village of Kemerton is a haven for walkers and cyclists alike. Set within breathtaking countryside and within easy reach of Bredon Hill (5 miles), an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can visit the ancient Saxon town of Winchcombe (10 miles), nestling in a beautiful Cotswold valley or for motor enthusiasts, why not enjoy a day at The Prescott Hill Climb? The village of Broadway (14 miles) boasts a traditional, historic high street of honey-coloured cottages, shops, cafes and restaurants. Further afield you could enjoy the racing at Cheltenham (10 miles) and Stratford-upon-Avon (25 miles). Cheltenham is home to famous literature and food festivals, while Stratford has everything for lovers of theatre and culture. The Vale of Evesham (12 miles) is home to the simply stunning Blossom Festival in the springtime and the Plum Festival in the autumn.

Drive through the electric gates and take in the blooms of colour within the gardens. The annexe has a private entrance where you can leave your walking boots on the covered porch. Step inside to the entrance hall where you can enjoy plotting tomorrow’s walk on the large map on the wall. The annexe is a single storey, offering access to the lounge/diner: a beautiful room with wooden floors and large windows overlooking the gardens. There are comfortable leather sofas perfect for relaxing in front of the TV after a day of exploring, and a dining area that’s perfect for two. The kitchen has been finished in a contemporary style and is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a breakfast bar with two stools in the kitchen. So, when the day is done, there is a king-size bedroom with views of the gardens. Completing the accommodation is the shower room with double shower and WC.

Step outside and enjoy a morning coffee or pre-dinner drinks on the patio. Here, you can relax and enjoy the views of the owner’s gardens. There is off-road allocated parking for one car.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the Cotswolds staying at Kemerton Cottage. The cottage was absolutely lovely and spotlessly clean and the garden was very impressive. We visited some lovely places like Broadway, Bourton-on-the-water, Tewksbury Abbey was fabulous. We wouldnt hesitate to book Kemerton Cottage again it was just lovely.

Great location and helpful owner. Everything was top quality. I do not think we would stay there again, only because the sink in sofas were difficult to get out of with arthritic knees! I would recommend to more mobile family members.

We had a thoroughly relaxing stay at the cottage. It was clean and well furnished with lovely views over the owners garden. We would recommend the cottage as a base for touring the Cotswolds.
