Nice cottage in a great location. We had two main issues; a) The stairs are steep & narrow - people with mobility issues could struggle. Our dog slipped on a couple of occasions. b) We searched specifically for cottages with parking. This cottage doesn't have its own parking and the on-street is limited to 2hrs so we had to park at the racecourse -Read more 35 for the week / 0.25mile away. fortunately the weather was kind to us. We had a wonderful holiday in the Lakes. The cottage was lovely and in a perfect location. Cartmel is very pretty, excellent for exploring the lakes and great places to eat.
