These delightful properties are set within the owners grounds offering a peaceful escape. Each boasting an abundance of character and charm and has been developed with the utmost care and attention providing the perfect mix of traditional features and contemporary luxury.

Located in a quiet spot in a quaint Lancashire village the converted Dutch barns are surrounded by countryside and wildlife. The cottages are equidistant between the seaside town of Blackpool and the historic city of Lancaster and the beautiful Trough of Bowland. A short drive away is the popular seaside destination of Blackpool with its Pleasure Beach, Zoo, Grand Theatre and Winter Gardens, there is something to cater to the whole family.

Leisure facilities: guests are welcome to explore the  enclosed shared grounds and relax in the wildlife area with seating and a wild flower meadow and adjoining paddock and also fish in the large wildlife pond stocked for course fishing. Private games room: with pool table, table football and traditional family games. Amenities: Bed linen, towels, electric, underfloor heating and Wi-Fi included. Additional info: It is recommended guests bring their own rods and fishing equipment and guests will require a rod licence (can be purchased from post office or via environmental agency website). 2 dogs welcome. Location: pub and shop 2 miles.  Lakeside Bistro is a short walk away.

The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: 1 king-size bedroom with en-suite wet room, 1 double with en-suite wet room with shower and WC, 1 twin and 1 double. Bathroom: with bath, shower and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with woodburner (first basket of logs included) and Smart TV .Kitchen area, electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Utility room: with washing machine and dryer. Downstairs WC. Private games and cinema room with projector screen, and pool table. Outside: enclosed shared garden with private seating area, private hot tub and patio and adjoining shared wildlife area and paddock. All weather tennis table is also available at the property.

Fantastic stay at hare house. Joanne & Andrew very welcoming. Doggy gift box a very nice touch. Lots to do for all ages (21 - 79 years old) Loved the table tennis, hot tub, pool table and boules. Lovely surroundings and a very impressive house. Great weeks stay. Hope to return soon. Thank you.

We had a wonderful family weekend at Cobblestones for a special birthday. The welcome pack was generous and much appreciated. All the bedrooms were fab with 2 ensuite. We enjoyed playing pool and using the hot tub. The large cinema screen was also really good. We can easily recommend this property. The building itself is magnificent; it was built by the owner and you can see the care and attention that was taken during construction. It is located in a very peaceful and tranquil area just outside Blackpool and is ideal for a large family or like us, grandparents, kids, and grandkids.

Absolutely loved staying here, we had the best time. Absolutely beautiful house. Loved our welcome gift too. We would definatly reccomend to everyone and would love to come back. This place is amazing! We go away with family at least once a year and this is the best place we have stayed by far! Not only does it look fabulous but it has everything you may need and more. So luxurious. We stayed as a group which ranged from the ages of 79 to 3 and everyone loved it. The owners take great pride and you can tell. We stayed here as a family of 6 adults, a 1 year old and a dog. We all absolutely loved it! The house had absolutely everything you could possibly need and more! Beautiful holiday house in a very peaceful setting. It was lovely standing on the veranda at night listening to owls and foxes. We booked this for our first family get together since before lockdown and had the best time. Loads of space for us all, we loved the movie room and pool table as well as the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay at Hare House. We didnt realise it was semi-detached until we arrived but that wasnt a problem at all. We still had our own separate outdoor area with hot tub which was great. The equipment such as the table tennis, Boules and games room were fantastic and we loved the decor and style of the property. We had a really enjoyable stay at Hare House. A lovely location and a very well presented property with lots to do. We enjoyed the hot tub, secluded outdoor sitting area, pool table and cinema room.
