Many thanks for your organisation and the useful information you provided for our stay at Upper Crossing. The cottage was exactly as we expected, and it was really fun to stay there. We met the owner Sandra in Pembroke, and had a lovely chat with her. We had a wonderful time exploring the area, and the Welsh coast was beautiful. In Little Haven there is a shop called ‘ Lobster and Mor ‘ where we bought excellent lobster. The Swan hotel in Little Haven served the best fish and chips – the competition was tough!

The cottage was beautiful and we had a fantastic time. We are looking forward to returning, hopefully later in the year .

This was our first break as a family in North Wales and we had a lovely time. In a great location to explore Snowdonia and surrounds. We climbed more mountains and castle turrets than I care to count! The cottage is cosy and well-equipped and with beautiful views to boot. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Many thanks for a great stay in your lovely cottage. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting, watching the lambs and ponies and listening to the birds. The cottage itself was perfect, really well equipped and we loved the fluffy towels and bathrobes. Great walks nearby and we really enjoyed our trip up Snowdon. We would recommend the mine tour at the Slate Museum. The kids enjoyed the treetop bounce at Zip World. We also enjoyed a walk at Harlech Beach, the castle looked great – another time!

Tailor’s cottage is beautifully presented and clean. The location is superb for accessing all areas of Snowdonia and the view from the cottage across the valley is lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Fabulous location and such a beautiful cosy shepherd’s hut.

I thought the house was decorated beautifully and the lady who met us was really nice and helpful. The house was also incredibly clean.

Tailor’s Cottage was exactly as expected from the website. Small but beautifully finished and furnished. Everything you needed was at the property and the log burner was wonderful. Comfortable for 2 adults with 2 small children (who were comfortable sharing a double). Lovely rural setting, with plenty of sheep and lambs in the surrounding fields – a truly memorable stay for all the family.

What an amazing retreat, peaceful & wholesome. A brilliant 3 days of exploring the local area, cooking on the fire & being rocked to sleep by the winds. Escapism at its best.

Laundry Cottage was simply perfect for our girls getaway. A wonderful place to relax, the owners have thought of everything. And 10/10 for Combe Hay’s most delicious brownies.

We have absolutely loved our short and sweet getaway to Ty Pren, just wishing we could stay longer!
Ty Pren has been cosy, comfortable, clean and just perfect to come back to after a day of walking and exploring. We had everything we needed and we loved all the little touches. Thank you for being such great hosts and making our stay wonderful. The bed is so comfy, can we take it home plus the beautiful view?

What a perfect bolthole Laundry Cottage is. Such blissful peace in deepest Somerset. The owner has that rare combination of interior style and the ability to make such a place, truly a wonderful hideaway. So restful, it steals your heart.

“A peaceful yet energetic stay. We all loved staying here. Enjoyed hikes around Mam Tor at sunset, Hathersage to Stanage Edge, Castleton to Lose Hill and even a caving trip. Some fantastic lunches at the David Mellor Cafe/Design Museum, Coleman’s Deli, and Hathersage Social Club. Thanks for making this a truly lovely stay. The Kenny family love this place :)”
