- This is a chef’s kitchen with all of the equipment you need to entertain and host a large dinner party in front of the fire in the open plan dining space.
- Plenty of space in the pantry and large fridge to store your supplies, two ovens, a 6 burner hob, a microwave and two sinks though you shouldn’t need them with the dishwasher.
- There is separate living room with views out across the craggy bay and deep comfy, sofas around an open fire.
- You are spoilt for choice with three en suite bedrooms and an additional double and a bunk bed room.
- The magnificent master bedroom hides upstairs with great doors opening out to a view of the bay. Everything is oversized in its bathroom with a deep, luxurious bath and even more luxurious, enormous walk in shower.
- The second double, downstairs, is the smallest of the doubles but has views across the bay and a contemporary styled bathroom with a large walk in shower.
- A third double, downstairs, looks out across the gardens on two sides and has a bath and shower in the en suite bathroom.
- The fourth double is accessed via a ladder step so is a little challenge for those less mobile but it is a real hideaway with lovely views out to the rocky island in the bay across the gardens.
- The fifth room is a lovely bunk bed room with views out the sea again and adult size beds.
Outside Rhoscolyn House
- Extensive grounds with many spaces to sit and watch Cormorants and Oyster Catchers on the beach and rocky islands all around.
- Wander up, (past the helicopter pad!) to the look out, sitting on the craggy, private headland for a great, peaceful place to enjoy the uninterrupted views out to sea.
- Explore the rock pools on the beach below or by the old Lifeboat house (now the family’s boat house) and private jetty.
Things you should know
Access all the way to the front gate of Rhoscolyn House is dependent on the tide. The last 200m to the house are across the beach and it is only possible to reach the house by car at low tide. At other times guests park in the beach car park and walk along the path to the house.
Rhoscolyn House is a long way from the nearest street light; on a clear night you will be astounded by the inky black sky and the stars you can see as soon as you get out of the car. You will experience dark nights and the only sounds at nights are those of the sea and the birds.

Rhoscolyn Reviews
Rhoscolyn House joined Sheepskin in June 2011, so until now the owners, who love their time there, have been the only ones to enjoy this luxurious space.
I have stayed there too and I can confirm that the images do not lie it is absolutely stunning and I wish I could have spent more time there to explore the beaches and watch a few more mesmerising sunsets over the sea! But guest reviews are most important and we will be adding guest reviews very soon.
Why not sample the inky black skies, tranquility and luxury at Rhoscolyn house and give your own review…
We had the most fabulous stay. The house exceeded our expectations, everything about it was perfect, the location was sublime, the weather was lovely… what’s not to like? We enjoyed meals at the White Eagle and also at the ‘sister’ pub ‘The Oyster Catcher’ at Rhosneigr. Mark looked after us brilliantly. Our son, who was celebrating his 50th Birthday, had the best birthday ever.
