The Laugharne Weekend
Not as famous as the globally-renowned Hay Festival, but the Laugharne festival is rapidly emerging as a rival in the affections of culture lovers across Britain. The festival takes place in April.
The Laugharne music and literature festival is gaining a reputation as one of the best of its kind in Europe and has attracted a long list of well- known names this year such as Michael Sheen, Dom Jolly and Gary Kemp. The BBC will be covering events with Stuart Maconie’s BBC6 radio programme broadcast live from Laugharne on the Friday of the festival.
