Living in the UK we are so fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful picturesque countryside, rolling hills and breathtaking coastline. After Helen and Adam returned from travelling, they realised how much they loved the British landscape and launched Sheepskin to share their favourite places with everyone.
Sheepskin’s head office is located in the wonderful Oxfordshire countryside, and we are very lucky to have a property within a few miles of us. Chescombe lodge recently joined our unique collection and we believe it is the perfect place for a quick weekend get-away from London. Less than two hours and you are on the edge of the Cotswolds, the historic city of Oxford and postcard scenery.
If you get the chance to stay at one of our properties this year, become part of the community and visit the local farm shops. We are experts on the areas surrounding our properties, and if we don’t know we will find out for you, so don’t hesitate to ask. Our properties are in some stunning locations, so we encourage you to explore, meet the locals and really see the true nature of the property and the place you’re visiting. Before your stay we send you a tailor made guide giving you the finer details about the property, how to get there and any activities in the surrounding areas, allowing you to make the most of your time away.
Along with your guide, when you arrive at the property there will be a jute bag filled with delicious treats to welcome you into the home. The welcome packed gives you those little essentials, which we believe is a delight when stay at a self-catering property. There is nothing like a nice cup of tea after a long journey, and with the jute bag there is no need to rush to the shops as soon as you walk through the door. If you want a little more, order a tapas selection to be delivered for when you arrive; this is a perfect meal or snack for the whole family. Here at Sheepskin we love trying local produce, wherever we go.
